Today I just need a break, after all of the activities surrounding the Club 20 debates.
Monday and Tuesday will be just like any other day on the campaign trail.
Wednesday my family, even my Republican brother, is going to Denver to finally put my father to rest. His ashes will be interred at Ft. Logan National Cemetery on Thursday afternoon. Dad was a World War II veteran. He will be joining my brother, Karl, who is already resting there. Karl was in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era. Our family was devastated when Karl committed suicide.
We will be returning on Friday, but active blogging probably won’t start again until Saturday.
On another more positive note--one that is looking to the future, not the past--we have new yard signs. There are quite a few of them at DEM headquarters. Please show your support by picking one up and planting it in your yard. We have some of the big signs to go into key locations around town. Look for them!
We may also have some no peacock campaign buttons soon…
