We are also working to get to meet as many people as possible. Check out our calendar for details.
Here’s a partial list:
Tomorrow we have an entry in the Fruita Fall Festival Parade. Line up begins at 8:30 a.m. The Parade starts at 10:00 a.m. We line up at 203 S. Apple. Wear purple and come down to march with us.
The Mesa County Democrats will have a booth at the festival, and we will be at that booth from time to time.
On Monday morning we will be at the Coffee Studio in the Safeway shopping center at 29 Road and F Road. We are there every Monday morning from 8:00 to 10:00 to talk to people about issues. They have a great coffee drink that I’m asking them to call a Konola—Raspberry & Chocolate & Coffee. How could you go wrong?
Wednesday, September 29, we will be at Trader’s Coffee and Tea across Patterson from St. Mary’s Hospital. We are there every Wednesday morning from 8:00 to 10:00 to talk to people about issues. I like their Mexican Mocha!
Wednesday, September 29 the Young Democrats are hosting a rally for Konola4Colorado on campus. I’ve signed a contract as an entertainer, so I need to come up with some new material. Any ideas, let me know! The time for that rally is from 3:00 to 4:00.
Thursday, September 30 there is a Meet and Greet for me from 4:00 to 6:00 in Fruita hosted by Mary and Clee Sealing. The event ends right as Steve King’s next Town Hall meeting starts up at 401 Kokopelli Blvd. in Fruita. We might drop in and ask Steve a few questions.
Friday, October 1 from noon to about 1:30 the Redlands Rotary Club is hosting a Konola/King debate.
Saturday, October 2, Helen Traylor is hosting a coffee with the candidate in her home in the Redlands. Then from 11:30 to 1:00 we are attending a luncheon for retired Mesa County school employees.
