I'm a little distracted these days. My mother, who is 81, has been diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time. Today I am helping her with some pre-op appointments and tests. On Thursday she will undergo her second mastectomy. We've been busy planning to make her comfortable and worry free post-op.

I've been watching the developments in Wisconsin, and the reactions across the U.S. If I get a break this afternoon, I may post some info here. There are pro-union rallies scheduled today for Denver and Colorado Springs. And people from all over the world are sending pizza to the protesters in Wisconsin.

This isn't about balancing a budget, it is about taking away the rights of workers. If you work for a living, you may want to pay attention.
